Loop
(Artifex 001)
[25]
The first clientless brand from Artifex
Loop is a clientless brand designed for software companies in biotech, AI, data, or finance.
The identity is built around themes of continuous movement and iterative growth.
You see this in the looping logomark and the “Data Wave” graphic assets — visuals that deepen as they move, echoing flow and evolution. They might represent molecular structures, funding cycles or data streams.
This is brand 001 of the Artifex project. Available for acquisition upon inquiry.

Blau
[23]
All of your DeFi needs in one place
The goal with Blau’s visual identity was to feel like a high-end digital casino.
It consists of a poker-inspired 'B' logomark, traditional finance greens, energetic gradients, and icons that echo slot machines.
The result is a brand that makes DeFi feel as refined as traditional finance — without losing its edge.
Animated by Chiung Xiaoqiong Zhang.

Yield made simple
Stream is a DeFi platform that makes advanced crypto trading accessible to everyone.
Centered on an iconic urn mark, the identity alludes to online streams of currency.
Blue and pink accent colors hint at TradFi and DeFi. Blue feels secure, established, and stable. Pink is expressive, new, and experimental.
Fluid, dot-based graphics represent streams of digital currency

Bio
Independent studio practice based in Los Angeles, California, working with founders in emerging-tech spaces to create their brand identities. Before this, I ran Flowstage Studio for 3 years, collaborating on brands across crypto and fintech.
Also focused on a project called Artifex, an artistic, experimental approach to branding, where I create brand identities first, then match them with founders after—inverting the traditional process for more authentic and unique results.
Approach
My process is very iterative, artistic, and intentional. My design decisions come from constant study of exceptional design and art. I believe in studying great work, and that familiar design is good design. I want to make things that are familiar, but fresh. Usually starting my process with creating something strong and classic, then making it 10% different—often through bold, eye-catching visual elements. I find that this ensures work that lasts for years.
other
Also interested in photo, video, music, and clothing. Active in beach volleyball, tennis and snowboarding. And enjoy electronic music like 2hollis, BICEP, and Four Tet
